1. Platform Overview

Locker23 is a soccer showcase platform where player profiles can be viewed by coaches. Players retain full control over what information is shared, and any contact following consent occurs directly between player and coach off-platform. Locker23 does not operate or promote itself as a traditional scouting service, recruiting agency, or intermediary. Locker23 does not provide evaluations, rankings, recruiting lists, or certifications or endorsements of players. Coaches may independently review, shortlist, and evaluate players.

Locker23 does not provide in-app messaging or communication tools. Direct communication between players and coaches occurs only when a player voluntarily consents to share their contact information, after which all communication takes place off the Locker23 platform.

Automated in-app notifications and contact requests do not constitute direct communication and are provided solely to support platform functionality.

2. Payments & Subscriptions (Premium)

Locker23 offers optional premium features.

All fees are displayed in the app.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.

You may cancel at any time through your app store.

Refunds follow app-store policies (including Apple App Store and Google Play).

Failure to pay may result in suspension of premium features.

Locker23 does not guarantee recruitment results, scholarships, trials, or contracts from premium usage.

3. Role of the Platform

Locker23 does not operate, promote, or market itself as a traditional scouting service, recruiting agency, or intermediary. The platform does not provide player evaluations, rankings, recruiting lists, or recommendations. Locker23 does not certify, endorse, represent, or guarantee players to any institution or organization.

Coaches may independently review, shortlist, and evaluate players using information voluntarily provided by users.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

Locker23 collects personal information provided by players and coaches, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, profile information, and activity within the platform. This information is used to operate the platform, enable profile visibility and contact requests, and improve services.

Players retain control over the information they choose to share.

Locker23 stores and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR.

Users may access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data in accordance with Locker23’s Privacy Policy by contacting privacy@locker23.com.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, software, logos, designs, and platform features on Locker23 are owned by Locker23 or its licensors. Users may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Third-Party Names and Logos

Locker23 may display names, logos, badges, or other identifying marks of clubs, teams, schools, leagues, or organisations solely for informational and identification purposes, including to reflect a user’s stated affiliations or playing history.

Such display does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or approval by Locker23 or by any third party. Locker23 does not use third-party logos for advertising, promotional, or commercial endorsement purposes.

All third-party names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

If you believe that a logo or identifying mark has been displayed inaccurately or without appropriate authorisation, please contact Locker23 and we will review and, where appropriate, remove or update the content.

6. Third-Party Services

Locker23 may include links to third-party websites or integrate with external services. Locker23 is not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services. Users agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms when accessing those services.

7. Termination & Suspension

Locker23 reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts, at its sole discretion, for violations of these Terms, misconduct, misuse of the platform, or where required to comply with legal obligations.

Termination may result in loss of access to profiles, features, and data associated with the account.

Account Deletion by User

Players may delete their Locker23 account at any time through their account settings or by contacting customer support. Upon deletion, the player’s profile will no longer be visible on the platform.

Personal data will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with Locker23’s Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Locker23 is not responsible for any information previously shared outside the platform.

8. Modifications to the Platform

Locker23 may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform or its features at any time. Users acknowledge that Locker23 is not liable for any changes, interruptions, or discontinuation of services.

9. User Representations & Warranties

Users represent and warrant that they are 16 years of age or older, that all information provided is accurate and truthful, and that they will not misuse the platform or engage in conduct that could harm Locker23, other users, or third parties.

10. Disclaimers

Locker23 is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Locker23 makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Locker23 does not guarantee recruitment outcomes, scholarships, trials, contracts, or placement results. Use of the platform is at users’ own risk.

11. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Locker23, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of their use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Notifications

Locker23 uses automated system notifications to support account functionality, platform security, and user awareness. These notifications may include alerts relating to account activity, profile views, shortlist activity, contact information requests, or changes to the platform or these Terms.

Users acknowledge that certain notifications are essential to the operation of the platform and cannot be opted out of.

13. Copyright & DMCA

Locker23 responds to copyright infringement claims in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The parties agree to attempt informal resolution of any dispute before initiating formal proceedings. Where permitted by law, unresolved disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in the United Kingdom, unless a user opts out within 30 days of acceptance.

Nothing in this section limits a user’s right to bring a claim before a competent court where such right cannot be excluded under applicable law.
